Answer:
If you are an Administrator, you can use the User Administration page to identify whether an individual is a Change Approver, among other things. A Change Approver is an individual in your organization who is tasked with approving changes to test, development (dev), and production (prod) environments for service requests―database refreshes, migrations, database access, application restarts, upgrades, and file movements.
Some of these service requests require a Change Approver to attach an email approval for fulfillment. In this way the Change Approver ensures the right people within their organization effectively review each request for a change to their environment. If you are an authorized Change Approver, you are not required to attach an email approval. The system will prompt you for approval if approval is required.
The following table identifies the situations where an approval is necessary for service request fulfillment.
